setting of the Fourth Annual Plein Air Painters' U.S. Open.
This unique event is the largest of its kind in the nation, annually
attracting artists from throughout the world. Experience the
drama as painters compete in a race against time and nature, while
capturing the magic of Whidbey Island on canvas.

ARTISTS
All plein air painters, from
beginners to top-ranked artists, are eligible to participate in this
open competition (no jury to enter). Saturday auction is
juried. Artist registration is $50. This years awards
include: Best of Show, 2 Awards of Excellence, 2 Awards of
Merit, and a Rookie of the Year!
Proceeds benefit the
Pacific
Northwest Art School.
